The whine was oddly endearing, if one was to be completely honest. It was further proof that Trauma wasn't a complete superhuman that couldn't feel pain or anything like that. A touch of human that Claudio liked to see once in a while. A sign of a weakness that he hoped he could take are of.
While he wasn't trained in first aid outside of the general basics, he had been a well enough study for things like this because honestly, they had a lot of troubles before all this. A lot of problems that needed help and first aid.
Moving to knee closer, he leaned in, nose to nose to the other and whispered. "I'll be as careful as I can be. Swear." And leaned in to press his lips to the others, firm but not hard. Kissing him once before pulling away, almost apologetic as if he needed to apologize before hand.
He then pulled a few more bandages out and sat them near by, reaching for the arm and letting his hands slide around it lightly. "Might.... might be able to heal it. But I haven't, ah, had much practice. If you want me to try after." He said, and looked over the bullet wound, before going invisible. He wanted to first see if he could fade through and 'trace' where the bullet was. Then maybe poke inside and push it out invisible. But he had to be careful. If he slipped up it could mean a second hole in the others arm right after.
After that long, surrounded by panic and terror, expected to keep control because he'd set himself up in a pseudo leadership role, it was incredibly easy to just let Claudio take the lead. Terry accepted him into his space like he belonged there, kissing him back and taking the moment for what it was. He nodded, hoping that was response enough, before finally continuing.
"You should try." He admitted. "I don't want to try going into shock. ...Again. "
Trauma closed his eyes, after a moment. and took a deep breath trying not to focus on the fact that Claudio was going to attempt to pull a bullet out of his arm. He was positive it was possible, and he was sure Claudio could do it, but that didn't stop him from imagining horrible outcomes. It was part of what he did.
The bullet itself had lodged deep, and against the bone, probably causing most of the more intense pain just from scraping against it with every motion. It wasn't a pleasant sensation.
Terry himself counted over in his head, up to seven, holding, and back. And then again. He was still blue eyed and calm, all things considered though it might've partly been the blood loss and exhaustion setting in.
"You don't try the shock thing, kay?" He said while invisible, fully so, not just a hand. IT was easier this way. He passed a hand through, feeling in a ghost like way for the bullet, then he slid a pair of fingers in at the bullet hole, and moved in until he touched just the bullet.
This was the tricky part. he wanted to remove nothing more then the bullet itself. When he was sure it was just bullet, he slid it, pushing it, invisible, intangible, out the side of the others are. He would feel it, but only in the fact that one moment there was a object in his arm, and suddenly there wasn't, the space of the bullet suddenly taking off.
If he let go, there would be a new wound. He'd nearly killed someone this way before. Now he had practice, and this was important. He pushed the bullet out, and when he came visible again, he had a crunched bullet between two fingers, blood on just the bullet itself. He held it up to Trauma a moment to show him.
"Am I going to be mad about how you got this? And why the fuck was AGI rioting at it's own location, or was SERO doing an invasion again?" He said as he dropped the bullet to a couch seat near the first aid kit, moving to grab some things to clean the wound now. It was going to string, sorry. But he wanted it cleaned before he tried to heal it.
Trauma tried his hardest not to think about what was happening. Honestly this wasn't the worst injury he'd ever had. it would take a lot to beat what had already happened to him, both back home and here, but it was among the most unsettling.
He flinched when the bullet was suddenly gone and the movement made the nausea worse for all of a moment, and when he reopened them the bullet was in his face.
Oh. That. That had just been in his arm. And wasn't. That was kind of strange to think about. He didn't know why that fact, out of everything was so unsettling, but he had a theory that involved blood loss and he didn't want to actually bring too much attention to it right now.
"We got the okay to try and escape, and they didn't know there were more rioters in the building." Trauma said, after a moment, trying to figure out how best to say all of this. He wasn't sure there was a best. So this is what it was like to be on the other end of this conversation. Trauma didn't like it. "Seemed like SERO."
Trauma wasn't much for eye contact at the best of times, but it was pretty clear at the moment he was downright avoiding it.
It didn't take too long, and once he was clear he held the bullet up to the other, before moving to push it into his free hand. "I fucking hate SERO." He said in reply. He hated AGI more maybe. Rioters though. He hated riots. Everyone got pointlessly hurt for no reason at all.
Free handed he moved to take up a thick compression cloth, placing it over the wound and pressing, not even waiting to say this might hurt. He then started to wrap it. It would need to be cleaned better then this, but for now, stop the bleeding.
"I wish I was there. I could have gotten you out. I'm sor--I'm... I just wish I could have helped get you clear. If there were still rioters why on earth would they tell you it was clear. Who's dumb idea was it to move you all out like that." he said, wrapping the bandage, and trying to see how fast it would spot with blood.
"Jesus fucking-" Terry flinched when the wound was pressed on. It was probably better that he didn't get a warning, because he'd have found a way to stall or pause. Instead, he just sat with his jaw tense and glaring through his hair. That was unkind, Claudio. And his face should clearly say so, even though he's not talking much right now between feeling horrific and the general bad ideas of the day.
"You couldn't've moved all of us." Trauma said easily, that much was clear to him at the time, and was still clear now. "There were over thirty students in our room, ....And Casey."
"The staff told us to try." Trauma paused, and was clearly trying to work through how best to go over this one. "They thought-Fuck. Could you just-...(Trauma stopped again to glare because the wrapping of his arm hurt and Claudio wasn't exactly being great about warning things now that the bullet was out. How was this his life) They thought all the Rioters were on the west side of the building, but we had a couple."
It wasn't like he was being rough, just medically firm. "Sorry!" He said swiftly the first time, moving it to wrap still. If his abilities didn't work right at least it would be wrapped up already, right? He'd rather it slow the bleeding now then anything else. Why chance it?
"I'd get you something for hte pain but this needs to be blocked now. And I could have tried. At least taken two out at a time. That's only like 16 trips or so. Or at least got you and Casey out." He said flatly, frowning. Or he could have covered them all. Or hidden them till it was clear. Or something. ANYTHING.
"Is Casey alright?" He then asked, sympathetically. Poor girl wasn't a Newcomer. If she got too badly hurt that was it. And he liked her. Her and the other friends Trauma had made. "The Staff are fucking idiots to send students out into a riot. They should have waited for a all clear." He huffed, frowning more at the others protests to what he was doing. he let his bloodyish hands go and frowned deeper.
"Gonna try something. Okay?" He said, bringing his hands up and rubbing them together. This time waiting for an okay.
"And then you'd have wanted to go back for the whole building. It was a mess." Trauma said, evenly. "The staff was trying but communication was down, tech wards were up. It was Ne-...It was bad."
Terry couldn't really turn his head to look, both from the pain and from the fact that the light headedness would probably mean he'd fall over. And he'd had enough stupid moments today.
"Casey's fine." He said. Casey had gotten out of it pretty well all things considered and Trauma was pretty grateful for that. " Freaked, but fine. She's probably going to have more nightmares than I do, though. "
Trauma paused as Claudio asked to try something. He wasn't sure what, but he trusted Claudio and was willing to see what it was.
When Claudio clearly waited for an answer he rolled his eyes and answered verbally.
"How the hell did she get out of it Scott free and you got all bloodied up? I mean, I'm glad she's all right though. I'm just surprised is all." And what did he mean by nightmares... "Must have been a hell zone if it's going to be nightmare fuel though."
He rubbed his hands together and frowned. Licking his lips he rubbed them again and that light orange glow sparked behind the blue of his eyes. With a faint barely there glow in his hands he held up the warm light to the others arm, trying. Trying to heal it. To promote regeneration of the wound.
"If... it hurts. Let... me... know, huh?" He said and for the most part it would be a tingling sensation more then anything else. A strange warm tingling feeling running through the whole of his arm.
Trauma did not answer, though his face pretty much said everything. He'd been an idiot, and he'd walked right into danger.
Terry however was almost immediately distracted by Claudio's eyes backlighting and then the feeling sliding down over his arms and through his fingers. What the hell?
He didn't turn to look at it, because that would be a horrible choice and he knew it, but he did continue watching Claudio, because he wasn't sure what was happening.
"It just...Kind of feels like static." He said, finally, after a moment. That wasn't the most accurate description ever, but it was the best he could do. "What are you doing?"
And that look said it all. For a moment, no matter what he was doing, he stopped everything to stare. If he were made of other things or if other things took more then he took to regenerate like he did, he would have left him to heal on his own. At least for a while.
"I see." He said flatly, looking away from him and back to the others arm. All energy he had at the time was pressed back to the others body, pushing him to be careful. The glow of his hands though, that was the real energy right now. He pushed a bit more, letting them glow in full, and the look on his face when Trauma asked what he was doing said that he had NO right to even ask whee he had to go to get help for this.
"Static." He said flatly. "Good." He said limply. "It's called making you feel better. Dumbass." He said in a short tone, clear that he was annoyed about something. He did however, let hi hands keep healing up as he worked.
