[Terry hadn't even realized quite how tense he'd gotten, how hard it had been to say all of that, until he'd gotten through it. He just felt awkward and kind of raw, and even though he leaned in to the kiss, he was sort of glad for the space after. People. Still not great with people. (Even if he'd sort of decided that Claudio didn't really count as people in that sense. Still. ) He'd closed his eyes to sort of get a hold of his brain and what the fuck he was doing, and when he opened them, once again realized he'd completely lost any real chance at eye contact for the moment. But that was okay. Claudio was sort of shit at dealing with people, too. Made things easier.]

I said, it's fine. I get it. I'm not-[Liar. Try again.]...mad about that. [Better. And yes, he did completely pretend as if he'd missed the first part of the apology. Just another thing a bit to hard to deal with. Apologizing to him wouldn't fix anything. Trauma's fault, anyway.]

[He knew him well enough to know that something that serious would need a bit of space. Or at least... if that was him he'd want space and not someone haning too close. He'd let the other invade space when he wanted to, bu Claudio moved to sit again on the end of the bed, both arms wrapped around one leg, leaning on the knee.]

[Yeah, he was pretty much shit with people and interacting with them. Dealing with them. It is why, in his future, in his proper time line, he's a hermit for ten years. But that is beside the point. And no, he doesn't show off those drawins. He's actually crumpled up a few of them.]

[He let out a deep sigh, letting his shoulders melt a bit and he curled up there, at the edge of the bed, staring at Terry's shoes. He had no idea what to say. He still felt such heavy guilt well up inside him over this. Memories! You don't fuck with memories! It's---Oh, it hit him. He groaned, sliding his hands up over his head tightly.]

Figure out triggers. What starts it. Why? How? I mean I didn't actually THINK I wanted you to do what I wanted, I don't think. But... [Despite Terry's personal issues, there was only so long he was able to stand there, before he rolled his eyes and went to drop down next to him. Despite what Claudio seemed to think, Terry was fairly sure they could get this under control. Gabriel wasn't totally useless, and Jinx was another expert on unhelpful powers. Between them he was sure they all had it covered.]
