"If I did, it would've gone bad." Trauma said, making no effort to hide the fact that this hurt and the more it got poked and prodded at the more he was sure that he made a decent choice by not going in, because if he'd had his powers going off while this was happening he might've started poking at the doctor's minds, without even intending to, instead. And that would've helped no one. Even if he didn't want to hurt anyone, he knew there was an inherent maliciousness in what he could do, and he had little to no amount of his normal control. To top it all off he had no illusions that he wasn't going to be horrifically upset when he found out exactly what had happened in the rest of the school. Here was a better place to learn than in a building that emotionally charged.
He continued, really out of the first sense of self preservation he'd had all day, to not explain how exactly someone who was supposed to be in lockdown got shot. It was really better this way for now.
He did, however let out a sound that was mortifyingly between a pained whine and a heavy sigh when he realized what Claudio was telling him. Casey hadn't had the training and Trauma hadn't had the focus to really look into how bad off the injury had been, just wrapping it as fast as she could to try and stop him from bleeding everywhere. So he hadn't actually thought through the fact that he probably still had a bullet in his arm. Right. Fuck. Of course he would. Of course.
"...Okay." He said, clearly unhappy about the idea of prodding around in the wound but willing to trust Claudio with it over pretty much anyone.
