He rolled his eyes and wiped the blood onto his shirt. Now was not the time to really be giving a shit about it. Trauma was quiet for a while, aside from occasionally sniffing because bleeding from your nose was goddamn annoying on a good day.
This wasn't exactly a good day. At all.
Really, it hadn't been his day. Or his week. Or his fucking month or so, when it came right down to it. A lot of really shitty little things, plus the fucking season in general, plus Jinx's shit, plus....
Somehow a guy he actually didn't think sucked too bad being dead being on the same list as the goddamn boss change over from hell sat with him wrong and he frowned at the floor for a moment before just fucking giving up on thinking. Worked well enough till he realized how long the silence had stretched, and that the silence was kind of bothering him. It wasn't exactly the comfortable kind.]
